Job description

Southfields Veterinary Specialists are currently recruiting for an Ophthalmology Specialist - Head of Service to join our growing team, post our move to our brand new 42,000sqft referral hospital.

This is an exciting full-time role and will ensure the candidate is an integral part of growing the ophthalmology service at Southfields.

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Specialist to work with the leadership teams to build the infrastructure, recruit supporting teams and develop operating processes within the ophthalmology department and wider teams that will support our patients and colleagues across all of our services.

This is a unique opportunity to join Southfields Veterinary Specialists and help us build and lead the team that will deliver ophthalmology services in our brand-new centre.

You will be part of a team that has been provided with some of the most advanced equipment and facilities in a supportive working environment.

You will be committed to developing the centre and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons. You will join an excellent multi-disciplinary specialist-led team that provides the opportunity to work with some of the most exceptional and dedicated veterinary professionals in a supportive environment.
