- Business Analyst
- GBP504 per day (Outside IR35)
- Remote working – required to go on–site to Manchester twice per month
Our client is looking for an experienced contract Business Analyst to be responsible for the requirement gathering, elicitation and process mapping on a major informatics data platform and service transformation project. Furthermore, you will also be laying the foundations for a technology–driven transformation of the informatics platform, through the investigation, specification, and design of high–quality systems, processes, and services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting complex and thorough analysis of system/operational issues
- Facilitate interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit business needs and system requirements
- Working with IS and DRIH stakeholders to define cost–effective and high–quality solutions which meet the business need.
- Translating business requirements into system (software, platform) and service requirements
- Creation of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, including the definition of business/system requirements
- Develop and hold effective relationships with key people within each area of the business to enable an efficient delivery of the right solution
- Effectively manage business stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
The following skills and experience will be beneficial for the role:
- Strong experience in Business Analysis
- Previous experience of working on data projects which a strong understanding of data warehouse, ETL, PowerBI,
- Strong experience and understanding in data platform, governance, reports & dashboards and service transformation
- Adept at planning and running requirements gathering workshops
- Confident communicating with and presenting to senior stakeholders
