An exciting opportunity to join our expanding maths team at the unique Silverstone University Technical College.
Silverstone UTC is a purpose built centre of excellence for young people wanting to break into the specialist fields of High Performance Engineering and Business with Events Management. It is based in the very heart of British Motorsport, at the Silverstone racing grounds, in a stunning multi-million-pound facility.
We have the same , expectations and pay-scale as all the other maths jobs out there, we’re as well equipped as every other maths department. So why Silverstone UTC?
We are different: we are a smaller school, only covering KS4 and KS5. This means you get to know everyone really quickly; it also means that the range of planning you have to do is greatly reduced.
We are supportive: there is plenty of experience in the team and around the school to help you settle in; we also have a great maths specialist lead practitioner.
We are flexible: we would like you to teach full-time but we’re also open to part-time as well; we would like you teach lots of maths but we’re also able to offer some opportunities to teach across any of the other STEM subjects including maths for engineering; we can offer you KS5 teaching as well as the full range of abilities at KS4.
