Job description

Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Technical Advisor / Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer required to join a manufacturer based in Wellingborough.


The Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Technical Advisor / Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer will provide technical advice and guidance on correct product selection, generate proposals, support customers and liaise with field sales and manufacturing facilities.


We would also consider a Graduate with a mechanical or chemical engineering degree looking for a varied technical & commercial position.

Up to £34,500 depending on experience

Role
Give technical advice and guidance on correct product selection as per customers’ needs
Generate & provide quotations & proposals for customers
Provide technical / commercial back-up to Area Sales Managers
Generate new leads through proactive targeting of new markets/industries
Liaise with various engineering departments and support the field sales team
Office based in Wellingborough
8.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 – 14.30 Friday

 

Requirements
Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive / Graduate Sales Engineer / Technical Advisor / Commercial Engineer / Application Engineer would be advantageous
We would consider a Mechanical Engineer looking for a career change or a Graduate Mechanical Engineer looking for a commercial but technical position
Engineering qualification would be beneficial, unless a Graduate where a Degree is expected
Exposure in a commercial, technical sales, customer facing, customer service or technical advisor / support role would be advantageous.
