Job Description
As the Global Medical Devices Training Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring key performance indicators associated with the training and qualification of all NB (Notified Body) employees engaged in conformity assessments for medical devices.
Reporting to the GMD-TTM (Global Medical Devices - Training and Technical Manager), you will contribute to the timely approval and maintenance of training, primary, and ongoing competences for NB employees.
Responsibilities
- Training Course Preparation: Support the Training team in preparing and maintaining core training courses related to medical devices.
- Peer Reviews and Assessments: Assist the Training team in conducting peer reviews and assessment marking for mock audits/technical file reviews.
- Training Scheduling: Support the Training team in scheduling training sessions and tracking the progression of new trainees.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical device regulations.
- External Training Support: Support and/or deliver external trainings, including administrative support.
This role is integral to ensuring that NB employees possess the necessary skills and knowledge for effective conformity assessments in the ever-evolving landscape of medical device regulations. The Global Medical Devices Training Facilitator contributes to the ongoing competence and professional development of the team, thereby enhancing the overall capabilities of the Notified Body. Qualifications
Core Competencies
- Teaching & Mentoring Skills: Ability to effectively impart knowledge and support the learning process.
- E-learning and F2F Training: Proficiency in both online and face-to-face training methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Internal Customer Focus: Prioritizing the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders.
- Project Management & Teamwork: Ability to manage projects and collaborate within a team environment.
- Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge in 1 of the NB’s Core Domains: A solid understanding of at least one of the Notified Body's core domains.
Skills & Knowledge - Essential:
- Proven experience in training and assessment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor level education, preferably in engineering, science, or research-based subjects or modules.
- IT literacy.
Skills & Knowledge - An Asset:
- Good understanding of global MDD, MDR & IVDR Regulations and associated coding.
- Experience in the field of medical devices.
