Job description
EDMAR Int. is currently seeking a bilingual French & English live out nanny to care for two children aged 2 and 4 years old in Paris 6e. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching French to the children, ensuring the education, development, and overall well-being of the children in a nurturing and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational and developmental support to the 2-year-old and 4-year-old children.
- Promote the overall development of the children through engaging activities and games.
- Teach French language skills to the children.
- Create and organize age-appropriate activities and games that stimulate learning and creativity.
- Ensure the safety of the children at all times during activities and outings.
- Assist with school activities and accompany the children to parks and cultural events.
- Prepare nutritious and diverse meals for the children, taking into account their ages and dietary needs.
- Pick up the children from school as needed.
- Maintain organized play areas and dedicated spaces for the children.
- Assist with bedtime routines and preparation.
Qualifications & profile:
- Prior experience working as a nanny or childcare provider.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and provide references.
- Travel with the family during school holidays as required, including spending one month in the Hamptons in July 2024.
- Bilingual proficiency in French & English is essential.
- Work approximately 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility required.
- Availability for 5 to 6 days per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
- 1 year contract during the stay of the family in France.
- Salary 2500 euros net per month
