People Operations Manager

Job description
Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for a People Operations Manager to join our Professional Services division - primarily responsible for managing a team of Aiimi Services Consultants and supporting their professional development. You will report directly to the Head of Aiimi Services and liaise with the Executive team, Senior Managers, Consultants & employees of Aiimi.
A day in the life of a People Operations Manager:
Deliver people procedures - Roles and responsibilities.
- Continuous professional development framework.
- Performance review framework.
- Mentorship guidelines.
Promote professional growth
- Assist in the evolution of the people procedures to ensure they reflect industry changes while retaining Aiimi’s core values.
- Contribute to shaping the learning and development dashboard and make recommendations for change.
- Set achievable development targets for consultants.
- Work with People Operations Manager(s) to refine and embed the professional development framework.
- Proactively engage with consultants
- Pro-actively and regularly engage with consultants on training and development matters.
- Work with Consultants and Apprentices to set and instil standards, with client expectations and Aiimi values and culture at their core.
- Build solid working relationships with Consultants and Apprentices; be a trusted conduit to the Aiimi Services Director and Head of Employee Engagement and Wellbeing on performance and wellbeing matters.
Performance management
- Deliver people management procedures, including a performance review framework.
- Where necessary, drive behavioural change across Aiimi and client boundaries.
- Support Aiimi mentors in their work with their mentees, ensuring consistent, timeous feedback is captured in the professional development framework.
- Pursue and nurture excellent performance among consultants and manage poor performance as necessary. Ensure comprehensive and timeous written records of.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience managing a team, including performance reviews, setting development goals and mentoring.
- Mentorship experience.
- Have excellent communication skills with experience, in creating and supporting change champions.
- Required to be an effective listener, focused on the voice of the colleague and to proactively gain insight into colleagues' motivations and sentiments.
- Be an ambassador for change, striving for consultants to feel change is being done for them, not to them.
- Awareness of market trends, competitor activity, products and services.
- Be aware of future workplace trends.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
