Senior Ecologist

Chelmsford £30,000-£40,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a brilliant team in Chelmsford! They are an environmental consultancy who provide solutions in relation to trees, ecology and landscape. The team work with land managers, developers and homeowners on a range of projects across the south east.

Responsibilities include;

• Supporting junior members of staff as well as lead ecologist in project delivery.
• Leading protected species surveys and overseeing PEAs, EcIAs, HRAs and BNG assessments.
• Using QGIS to prepare technical drawings.

Requirements;

• Experience with protected species surveys (survey licences beneficial).
• Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
