Job description

As a Senior BI Developer you will lead development of intuitive and visually appealing analytics dashboards for the business to provide insight into 3UK’s key trading and operational performance figures. Using your charm and drawing upon excellent business relationships, you’ll ask the right questions to understand what the business really want, and what will add the most value to them, acting as a friendly and customer-focused face of the data team. You will be able to advise on Tableau and visualisation best practices, and if required oversee data deliveries end to end, from customer requirements through to handover to operations. You will enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Job Description

• Partnering with the business to understand their data challenges and build solutions that help solve these
• Perform end to end delivery of visualisation. Covering requirements gathering, analysis, ETL, developing, testing, training, handover and ongoing support of solutions
• Performing data analysis to support visualisation delivery
• Developing and maintaining our suite of Tableau dashboards and reports
• Creating and maintaining documentation.
• Customer facing, liaison and communication skills

Qualifications

Essential:

• Advanced Tableau and SQL development; Tableau best practices 
• Visual UX design for dashboards and reports
• Database design principles, understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies

Beneficial:

• Understanding of telco or similar fast-paced, trading-based, industry 
• Experience working with CRM and Billing system data 
• Familiarity with cloud-based technology (Azure / Snowflake)
• Previous use of Jira and Confluence

Salary range for this role start's at £59,120, and exact salary will differ by job and experience

Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
