Job description

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Permanent Project Accountant for a flexible employer based in Pontypridd.

The Project Accountant will form part of the team responsible for the development and implementation of a large-scale portfolio of transformation programmes. You will support Programme and project level planning, working in collaboration with the Transformation Team, particularly Transformation Business Partners, to plan workload and resource allocation for projects. The roleholder will be required to ensure allocation of the correct resources to the right job at the optimal time, all within budget. There will be a particular focus on:

• Support for budget setting and resource profiling
• Change proposal development, which requires both proactive and responsive approaches to secure effective delivery
• Review of monthly performance against budget and delivery planning milestones
• Determination of forecast outturn adjustments as necessary
• Review, challenge, and support for investment appraisals

On offer:

Salary of up to £55,000. 35 days holiday, plus bank holidays and extra time off at Christmas. Very flexible working hours and hybrid working. Generous pension.
