Job description
Key Purpose of the Job:
- To carry out fire risk assessments throughout the United Kingdom on a wide range of client buildings to the required standard within the required timeframes.
- To represent Quidvis on a wide variety of client sites throughout the UK
- Communicate effectively with Quidvis management team to coordinate and cooperate in order to ensure that company objectives and goals are met.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Carry out suitable and sufficient fire risk assessments recording all significant findings using the Quidvisrisk app.
- Carry out quality control processes using the Quidvis RMS software package.
- Carry out comprehensive fire door inspections at a range of client sites.
- Manage own time and travel to ensure work commitments are achieved.
- Communicate effectively with Quidvis management team to enable effective time and workload management.
- Complete all company required administration such as expenses mileage and leave requests in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
Essential requirements for the job:
- Level 3 fire safety qualification minimum.
- Experience of carrying out fire risk assessments on behalf of clients in a range of different property types.
- Extensive travel to all areas of the UK and
- Europe as required by Quidvis.
- Ability to use a smart phone application to complete fire risk assessments.
- Good IT literacy skills
- Good standard of written English to enable a suitable standard of report writing.
- The person appointed will be client facing and is expected to be able to always express themselves verbally in a professional manner ensuring that the client experience of the fire risk assessment process is always positive.
- Full driving licence
Desirable requirements for the job:
- Third party accreditation with industry recognised body i.e. IFE IFSM FPA
- Experience of completing residential fire risk assessment types 1 2 3 and 4.
- Fire door inspection experience and or qualification i.e. C&G BMTrada

Essential requirements for the job Level 4 in Fire Risk Assessment or higher Evidence of several years experience undertaking practical fire risk assessment activities including the preparation of reports. Entry on the BAFE SP205 validator registry or prepared to be assessed for entry to the register. To maintain competence and to remain on the BAFE SP205 register. To carry out onsite Fire risk assessments as required to maintain competence. To have used and demonstrate a good knowledge of a wide range of fire safety guidance documents and have an understanding of Building Regulation Fire Safety Approved Document B Volume 1&2 Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment. Great Communication skills written and Verbal. Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work. A full driving licence. Attend management meetings. Desirable requirements for the job Local fire authority technical fire safety enforcement experience Prepared to travel to meet with assessors to train and mentor them if required Fire Engineering qualification Problem assessment and resolution
