The role:
Springwell Community College is currently seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths to join a well-established, talented, committed and hardworking faculty. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential by consistently delivering quality first teaching to ensure lessons are engaging and challenging for all students. The successful candidate will be involved in developing the curriculum alongside the Maths Faculty.
The person:
We are looking for an excellent Maths teacher who has a real passion for teaching and can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in teaching through a mastery approach as we deliver our KS3 and KS4 using this highly successful approach, which requires students to really think and understand what they are doing. They will also be committed to continued professional development through teaching and learning to drive their practice and development as a teacher. They will be enthusiastic, organised and committed to providing an outstanding education for all students.
