Lead and manage our Management Accounting and Treasury teams, ensuring accurate and timely production of trading accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, billing statements, and Treasury forecasting.
What you'll be doing...
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and supervise Management Accounting and Treasury teams
- Act as the UK business process owner for site financial returns/data capture processes & business continuity for the month-end close process
- Produce & review agreed metrics to monitor business & billing team performance
- Support continuous improvement opportunities within the team
- Mentor apprentices, ensuring progress and completion of necessary targets
- Ensure site trading is accounted for in line with contractual terms
- Review & analyse monthly divisional performance, including site-specific P&Ls & divisional costs
- Maintain strong balance sheet control over all site trading related balances
- Highlight areas of balance sheet risk or concern to operational & senior finance management
- Supervise accurate & timely production of billing statements
- Assist in ad hoc projects & tasks related to management accounts processes
- Manage relationship with UK bank & drive improvement in automation of bank reconciliations
- Handle all reporting/returns

What can you bring?
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant previous experience managing a management accounts or large accounting team
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience in multi-site accounts reporting and SAP FICO knowledge
- Strong Excel skills for manipulating large volumes of data
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure
- Collaborative team player with a warm, friendly, and genuine attitude
