As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored assistance to students with SEND, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personalized support to students with SEND, utilizing various techniques and resources to facilitate their learning and development.
- Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualized education plans and adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported in their educational journey.
- Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster effective communication and teamwork in supporting student success.
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to inform ongoing interventions and adjustments to support plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEND is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
- While not mandatory, holding relevant qualifications or certifications in SEND support or education is beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
