Renesas is seeking a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Intern for a 6-month placement under the Connectivity Solutions Division.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Design and implementation of DSP audio algorithms
· Integration of DSP algorithms into embedded environment
· Debugging and resolving technical issues
· Develop test benches for DSP algorithms and embedded code running in simulation and on target
· Evaluation, verification and test of DSP solutions
· Creating and maintaining technical documentation
· Time management and planning work to meet schedules
Qualifications
:
· Final year master’s degree students in pursuit of final year project
· Good knowledge of DSP architectures and processing including filtering, compression, equalisation and FFT
· Good knowledge of fixed point arithmetic. o Basic competency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ including embedded C/C++
· Basic competency in interfacing with embedded development hardware such as using JTAG, I2C, SPI as well as test equipment
· Good knowledge of audio algorithms
· Basic Knowledge and understanding of acoustics
