This bustling little cafe situated near Burnley are looking for a Chef to take control of the kitchen. Serving a range of homemade dishes, you will be required to serve both breakfast and lunch.
This is a great position for a chef looking to work more socialable hours with evenings off to enjoy.
You must be confident working single handed in the kitchen, with experience of baking home made cakes and desserts.
-Working approximately 40 hours a week.
-Straight shift with evenings off, 9am till 5pm.
-Working within a team of 2.
-Staff discount/full uniform provided
-Double time and day in Lieu for working Bank Holidays
-Christmas Day\Boxing Day and News Years Day off
What we need from you?
– Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
