Job description
Meteor Inkjet Ltd is seeking a full time Logistics and Operations Coordinator to work within the company’s busy operations team and take responsibility for stock movements within the business.

Responsibilities :
- Working efficiently within a busy operations department.
- Supporting for the sales function of the business while ensuring customer requirements are met to a high standard.
- Picking/packing/shipping of goods while maintaining department schedule.
- Creating shipping labels and managing logistics partner relationships.
- Receipting orders into ERP system with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Having overall responsibility for all stock movements within the business, ensuring transactions take place in the ERP system accurately and on time.
- Providing weekly meeting reports to assist the Operations Team Leader and the wider team.
- Working with the Office Manager to place orders for packaging materials in line with the company’s sustainability policy.
- Daily monitoring of any shipping delays with logistics partners, ensuring they are resolved and communicated to customers.
- Troubleshooting shipping issues and customer issues that occur; working to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase warehouse and dispatch efficiency.
- Developing knowledge about freight and sea shipping regulations and practices.
- Leading the quarterly stock count, ensuring all discrepancies are documented and adjusted in the ERP system in a timely manner; discrepancies are investigated; and process improvements implemented.
- Owning tidiness and upkeep of stores, including maintaining packaging supplies while following purchasing processes.
- Sharing responsibility for answering the office phone.
- Being flexible and responsive to schedule changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally covering other positions during staff absences/holidays.
- Performing ad-hoc tasks relating to any part of the operations team when required.
Location:
The job is based at Meteor’s headquarters in Harston, near Cambridge.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to work well within a team and individually.
- Efficient and organised.
- Proficient at using Microsoft Excel, with experience using ERP systems preferred.
