Science Specialist Teacher - Outstanding Primary School – Brent
As one of the highest achieving Primary schools in Brent, we are looking to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Science Specialist Teacher for an April start.
Our curricular structure is different to many other Primary schools; the school is based around subjects with specialist teachers providing expert subject knowledge to ensure pupils’ progress is exceptional. In Key Stage 2, our staff tend to mainly teach their specialist subjects and we believe this allows our pupils to greatly deepen their knowledge and understanding of key areas and this fully prepares them for their transition to secondary school.
As a Science Specialist Teacher, you will be teaching mainly Science to pupils in the school and contribute to the planning and delivery of Science across the school. You may also have the opportunity to teach other subjects in the school. A TLR is also available for the right candidate.
The school provides a highly academic curriculum and disciplined environment which enables pupils to achieve the highest possible qualifications. Person Specification – Science Specialist Teacher
• 1st class / 2:1 degree from a top University
• Strong academics across the board - A level & GCSEs (A* - B grades)
• Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to go above and beyond for pupils
• Ability to use your own initiative and be adaptable
