Consilium Recruit are proudly supporting a leading global engineering service provider who are working in partnership with some of the world’s most influential names in the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Tech, Energy, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Rail and Semi-Conductor industries.
We are seeking a Project Engineer on a permanent or contract basis to join their team in support of a globally successful aerospace manufacturer who specialise in environmental control systems, life support systems, hydraulics systems, and control and data systems used on a wide range of defence and civilian aircraft.

The Role
The Project Engineer will collaborate with support functions as needed to include stress, heat transfer, lifing, materials, systems engineering, programs whilst taking ownership of program plans and schedules associated with assigned components and ensure assigned components meet technical requirements.
There will be an initial requirement to be on site for short period of time, following this the role can be remote with minimal to travel to site.
The Person
The Project Engineer will ensure assigned components meet technical requirements and will be familiar with the requirements of REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).
The candidate will generate and deliver technical/program presentations to internal and external customers as required (systems tech review, design review and internal analysis review) whilst interfacing with global engineering organisations and design stakeholders as required, to support design activity on assigned components.
Due to the nature of the work, you will need to qualify for Security Clearance.
