At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Welding Engineer at our HHinkley Point C site.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 2,500 rooms.

The role

As a Welding Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will support the Welding Manager to ensure that all Welding and Welding Related matters within the MEHA are delivered to the highest standards appropriate to the particular requirements of the provision of a Nuclear Power Generating Facility at HPC incorporating all applicable RCC-M specification requirements for materials and workmanship.

Day to day, you’ll:

This role is full time, 38 hours per week, and will be based onsite at Hinkley Point C. We are happy to discuss hybrid and flexible working options

Qualifications for the Welding Engineer

The successful candidate must be able to achieve a minimum of BPSS security clearance for this role.
