Your Impact:
Jacobs Defence and Security provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad. Our team is experiencing exciting growth and long-term prospects within our established practice, and we are looking for electrical engineers with transferable skills who are passionate about developing themselves and in meeting new challenges. We offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. Occasional site visits may be necessary.
About the opportunity:
The individual will have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled teams delivering, implementing and managing BIM. We offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office, we also have a UK network of offices and can accommodate no matter where you are based with a mix of hybrid working. We have excellent IT support.Occasional site visits may be necessary.
Devonport Royal Dockyard is part of the largest naval base in Western Europe, and is the only site in the UK licensed to undertake submarine deep maintenance.
Jacobs is proud to have supported the site for over two decades, providing a wide range of project, safety, engineering and technical services, and has been involved in the design and substantiation of a large proportion of the site’s existing facilities and marine structures.
Today, we are a strategic supplier to the site, committed to providing value-adding support through long-term frameworks, and working collaboratively to deliver a significant programme of infrastructure upgrades, which will underpin the UK’s strategic defence capability for decades to come.
