As the Learning Management Systems (LMS- Moodle) Lead at the Royal Navy Submarine Training Centre (RNSTC), your responsibilities will include supervising all training delivery aspects and providing support for the two networks (Secret and Official) on a virtual domain. This encompasses managing the LMS solution and overseeing areas within the Defence Learning Environment (DLE). Based at the Royal Navy Submarine Training Centre at Faslane, you will also lead the establishment of DLE and LMS home pages for all courseware, as well as manage the hosting of training content and supporting materials across the IT Domain.”

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

• Configuration of a Moodle LMS
• Providing 1st Line support to users
• Managing system access for all levels
• Shaping strategy, policy and processes
• LMS Subject Matter Expert (SME)

What we’re looking for:

• Experience of managing and setting up a Learning Management System, ideally Moodle
• Extensive background in IT technologies
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Strong team player with experience collaborating to ensure successful delivery of output.
• Experience working with senior level stakeholders.
• Experience of working within Defence Learning Environment (DLE) (desirable)
• Must be able to obtain UK SC clearance (potentially DV clearance in future)

About Project Selborne:

Project Selborne is a £1 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.
