This position requires managerial and extensive specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of quality deliverables in a region, quality discipline (Continuous Performance Indicators (CPI), Home office Quality Assurance (QA), Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS) or Construction Quality (CQ)) or office activities. With authoritative decision-making this role’s recommendations have a significant impact on regional and offices quality policies and programs. This role directs the work of assigned quality personnel.
• Oversee technical quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), perform administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and help to maintain harmonious client relations
• Communicate effectively with all labor grades, and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of regional and offices personnel
• Serve as project Quality Manager on large projects, if necessary
• Serve as the office Quality Manager, if necessary
• Maintain Quality function records
• Facilitate the implementation of the Operating System Requirements (OSR) in offices for which responsibility is allocated
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-four (24) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters degree or global equivalent) in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferred
• Professional engineering registration preferred
• Auditor certification by outside agency (e.g., Registrar Accreditation Board (RAB), American Society for Quality (ASQ), International Quality Associates (IQA), or local equivalent, etc.) preferred
• Internal Lead Auditor certification required
• Twenty (20) years of related quality/project experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
