Job description

We are looking for a Live-In Carer to join our team.

Your Roles and Responsibilities as a Live-in Care Assistant

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will be living with one of our customers or maybe even a couple to provide the very best care. You are there to be a companion, but also to help them remain independent in their own home and cherish all the memories they’ve made there.

• Providing personal care duties,
• Administering medication,
• Manual handling, using equipment where required,
• Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full.
• Household chores
• Meal preparation
• Shopping
• Social Outings
• Offering our customers companionship

We have various roles where you will live with our customers from one week on and one week off, up to staying for a maximum of 8 working weeks at a time.

There is no specified stay length and we are flexible with how many weeks you work before having time off.

As a Live-In Carer you will benefit from:

We are flexible with how many weeks you work before having time off.

You will have your own room with a television, and access to the internet. All food will be provided and you will have 2 hours off a day.

You will be employed directly by Bluebird Care on PAYE. Tax and NI contributions will be paid on your behalf. You will receive paid annual leave and a pension is available.

The weekly gross pay before tax and NI starts at £650 per week. All training will be provided and paid for.

A DBS will be required but will also be paid for.
