Processing Technician

Job description

My London based Insurance client is looking for a processing technician that must possess the following skills:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process claims
• Manage one other person in the team
• Review the bound Market Reform Contract sent through from the Brokers to ensure the correct templates/formats are used according to the latest regulations and Xchanging requirements.
• Using our in house operating system ensure these policy documents are processed correctly by the processing team.
• Prepare the Lpans and documents ready for submission to the bureau.
• Submit the required risks to Xchanging via Brokasure/IMR.
• Check the daily signings of the bureau and chase when they fall out of the SLA.
• Respond to any queries received from the bureau.
• Liaising and responding to any queries sent through from Underwriters and process any corrections to the bureau as and when required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience working within the Insurance industry
• Management experience
• In depth technical knowledge of the insurance market and Xchanging practices and policies
• ECF/CLASS
• Claims Processing
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good knowledge of MS tools like PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word
• Some knowledge of FCA Compliance requirements
