Job description
Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent our client, a highly reputable and well-established firm of accountants is looking for an Accounts Manager to join their team. This highly successful accountancy practice acts for wide-ranging clients, across varied industries providing services including accounts, tax, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, management accounts, and payroll, alongside other specialist services including tax advisory services.
Joining as an Accounts Manager based from the firms office in Tunbridge Wells, you will have a hands-on role, responsible for your own portfolio of clients and reviewing the work of junior staff. You will also be responsible for preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and OMB limited companies. You will have increasing client contact and excellent progression prospects as you progress in your career. You will also have the opportunity to do some audit work should you wish, but this isnt a prerequisite.
- Review and finalisation of accounts (unincorporated and incorporated)
- Review of Tax computations (Corporation Tax and Income Tax)
- Review of tax planning opportunities for clients
- Review of MI including management accounts and cash flows
- Helping to manage junior/admin staff
- Assist with the audit & assurance department (Training provided, if required)
Requirements
- ACA/ ACCA Qualified
- Good interpersonal skills, particularly verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to hold client meetings
- Ability to plan time efficiently to meet client deadlines
- Strong I.T skills
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence

- £45,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
