About The Role
Leicester City Football Club's Academy are seeking an experienced individual with significant knowledge of the Midlands grassroots, Category 2 and 3 Academy football to be our new Midlands Academy Scout.
Based at Leicester City Football Club’s world-class Training Ground, this role will work in collaboration with Head of Scouting, Emerging Talent Operations Manager and manage the Senior Grassroots Scouts to identify and report on high potential players U9-U16 players faster and more efficiently than our key competitors. Through your efficient and effective use of our resources this role will create an agile system that will move young people into our Emerging Talent and Academy groups quicker that our competitors.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a talent identification role, ideally with a Level 2 qualification and having worked in a Category 1 Academy.
The role will involve a significant amount of relationship building with clubs and individuals across the region in order to identify high potential players quickly. You will also be required to manage and lead the Senior Grassroots Scouts.
