Graduate Learning Mentor to join the support teams at our client
secondary academy based in Mancheser. Applications are urged from graduates from all subject specialisms and levels of experience, with any previous experience being highly advantageous.
What can you expect? As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will be an essential part of the academy community, providing valuable support to both teachers and students. This is a perfect chance for individuals looking to pursue a teacher training course as it offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-class experience within your subject specialism, first-hand access to how lessons are delivered, classroom management and much more.
Role and responsibilities: - In-Class Support - Collaborate with class teachers to assist with classroom activities, help manage behaviour, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- One-on-One Support - Provide tailored one-on-one support to students, offering additional help and guidance in specific subjects or areas of difficulty.
- Lesson Delivery: Under the guidance of experienced teachers, you will have the opportunity to deliver lessons and develop your teaching skills, with full support and resources provided. Some general cover and support responsibilities may also apply.
Essential requirements: - Graduate Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area or equivalent qualification in a related field is required.
- Passion for Education - Enthusiasm for education, a desire to inspire and support students, and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
- Flexibility - Be adaptable and willing to take on new challenges in a dynamic educational environment.
- Work in your specilaist subject area.
- Must have graduate degree to be considered.
- Previous experience is advatageous.
