My client are a Building Services & Specialist Contractor who have been established in 2003 who have 8 Offices throughout the UK.

As a business, they employ 300+ Staff Nationally and are expected to Turnover £55Mil+ this year.

Working within the Commercial & Public Sectors, their sites are generally within London, Surrey, Kent & Sussex. 

Due to growth of business, they are now seeking an Electrically Biased MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their Team in their Crawley Office.

THE JOB – MEP Quantity Surveyor (Electrically Biased)

Monday – Friday / 8am  - 4pm

You will be working directly below the Commercial Manager preparing estimates and running small projects commercially.

Projects ranging from £200k - £3,000,000 (along with some smaller ones).

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review mechanical quantity surveying work, including cost estimates, bills of quantities, and cost reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual requirements.

Manage procurement activities for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with technical specifications and standards.

Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure project profitability.

Review and assess contractual documentation, including tender documents, contracts, and variations, identifying discrepancies, and negotiating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct site visits and inspections, liaising with site teams and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
