Believes in the power of reading and the development of literacy to transform life chances.
Has the capacity and experience to take the strategic lead for the development of reading and literacy across the whole school.
Has the desire and necessary commitment to make a significant contribution to the development of literacy levels.
Has the experience of using a range of strategies to support a wide range of staff at all career stages to develop their practice further.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of evidence-based strategies to develop and sustain high standards of literacy. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the capacity and experience to take the
strategic lead for the development of reading and literacy across the whole school, working with a wide range of colleagues and curricular areas.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious for themselves and others. We view this role as an excellent opportunity to prepare for Senior Leadership.
