Job description
Our client is a water and utilities company with projects across the UK and they are currently recruiting for HSE Advisors in South Wales
Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role will be responsible for the provision of competent HSQE advice, guidance and provide recommendations on all company activities. It will be expected that this role will take responsibility to support the HSE department to deliver and monitor the Companies HSQE management systems and initiatives on all UK sites.
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge, understanding and ability on the requirements of UK and EC HSE legislation
- Sound knowledge of, and the ability to work within the ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards
- Sound knowledge of IIPC/PPC Regulations
- Experience of water/waste water industry
- Experience of working within petrochemical industry
- Health, safety, quality and environmental experience in a multi-site industrial environment would be desirable
- Experience of working within petrochemical industry
Education / Training:
- Degree in any of the following disciplines would be advantageous - Health and Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Project/Risk Management, Chemistry
- NEBOSH Certificate (desirable)
- NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent (desirable)
- HSQE auditing qualification (desirable)
- A general training qualification (desirable)
- Occupational Health/Noise Monitoring qualifications (desirable)
