Job description

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction company based in Portsmouth who are seeking a full time Project Manager to join their construction department in the Hampshire area.

Projects include working for the Local Authorities, Country Councils and for the NHS.

You will be managing a site management team and reporting directly to the Contracts Manager.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Managing all site based activities & labour force
• Reporting to the Construction Manager
• Managing & implementing all Health & Safety on site
• Stock control
• Logistics
• Client liaison & staff meetings
• Managing site programs
• Reporting on programs
• Assisting with design
• Weekly/monthly progress reports

Must Have:

• At least 5 years proven experience with a main contractor
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong Leader on site
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• Eligible to live and work in the UK
