Head of Faculty

Permanent Role, Full Time

Start Date: 27 August 2024

Remuneration: Sixth Form Colleges’ Association Teachers’ pay spine from Points 1-9 (£30,500 - £47,133), plus an additional responsibility allowance of £9,151.76 per annum.

Loreto College is looking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Head of Faculty to lead and manage one of our curriculum faculties, each containing several well-established and vibrant teaching departments.

The College currently has approximately 3600 students and it is anticipated that the student population will increase by 600 students over the next three years a part of our exciting, planned campus expansion. The organisation of the College’s departments and faculties will be reviewed depending on the subject area expertise of the successful Head of Faculty candidate.

As a Head of Faculty, you will manage several Heads of Departments to ensure an outstanding student experience in each. The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading a team to continually improve the quality of teaching and learning and achieve excellent outcomes for students.

Loreto Sixth Form College has been awarded a second consecutive outstanding rating in all areas under the latest framework in the December 2022 inspection. Ofsted noted "Leaders place a very high priority on staff mental health and wellbeing including workload.
