Your new company
Your role as Debt Controller is to manage 6 retail sales ledgers in conjunction with the Retail Administrators to ensure a high level of cash flow and minimise levels of overdue debt.
Your new role
- Credit Control chasing up of overdue debt both retail (Supermarkets) and non-retail
- Customer credit checks via Credit Safe and Credit limit management of existing customer base
- Maintain the Credit insurance policy in conjunction with Group Credit Manager
- Retail and Non-retail Invoicing and raising of credit notes. Manual invoicing of non-standard sales.
- Daily banking and allocation.
- Regular communication with the customer and the issue of weekly statements
- Investigate debit notes and deductions across all retail customer accounts to ensure that timely and appropriate action is taken to resolve and account for them accurately. Identifying the root cause of issues / queries and how they can be resolved going forward.
- Investigation of EDI issues and follow up to resolution implementing controls to prevent same issues arising again
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Strong credit control experience.
- Good IT proficiency.
- Strong communication skills.
