Teacher of History with Politics
4 or 5 days per week

Smile Education is working in partnership with a Secondary school near Penn in their recruitment drive for a Humanities Teacher to join their team, teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 History with the desired advantage of teaching Y12 Politics.
This role will consist of teaching both History and Politics at KS5 and will be offered on a 0.8 or full time basis. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all aspects of the teaching role including planning, marking, completing reports, parents evening and data collections. You will join a staff body who are dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.
Applications from ambitious ECTs would be welcome, as would applications from more experienced colleagues. The successful candidate must have:
- Teaching Qualification
- 2 education-based references
- Knowledge of curriculum
- A passion for teaching
- Good approach to behaviour management
- A determined, hard-working attitude
