Find out if a career in care is right for you – take our short quiz here Job Advert Role Description The Lighthouse is a 5 bed specialist residential home for young people aged 13 – 18 with complex mental health and associated risk taking behaviours. The clients and staff therein are part of therapeutic and care services run by the Priory health division. We are situated walking distance from Stroud town centre allowing access from all major bus and train routes into the town. For our night shift team, we can offer 3 x 10 hours shifts a week with your working hours being 9:00pm - 7am. Our aim here at The Lighthouse is to ensure that the young people we invest in have the best residential experience in a therapeutic and homely environment. Care here is individually tailored to meet their needs and ensure the best outcome by investing in our young people’s future. You will be responsible for the supervision of our young people who display a range of behaviours relating to their mental health following their previous trauma. Participating in activities and engaging our young people around the home and within their daily routine as well as ensuring their educational needs are met. To apply you need;

• Experience in care is desirable but not essential

• Patience, enthusiasm and resilience
