Are you an expert when it comes to debtor reconciliations?
As a Finance Analyst, you'll work collaboratively with the wider finance team that produces the monthly management and annual statutory accounts for our UK and ROI Partners. You'll assist our Partners with the implementation of a new retail system, where you'll be tasked to reconcile debtors with Health Authorities in ROI, making sure these are accurate and compliant. Working closely with relevant teams to review and reconcile NHS/PRSI debtors from both the new and old retail systems with payments received from the Health Boards, investigate and clear debtor transactions promptly. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you'll liaise with Partners, Accountants, and the Financial Controller to resolve any issues or queries and identify any anomalies or trends. Effective communication is key as you explain debtor balances and help in clearing aged debt before the implementation of the new system. Making sure all SLAs, KPIs and customer service expectations are met, as well as assisting the stores through the system change and the smooth transition. You'll bring a solid knowledge of finance and accounting standards, including profit & loss and balance sheet analysis and how debtors impact revenue, cash, and profits, ideally with an AAT Level 3 qualification or studying towards. You'll have a problem-solving approach, and experience using Excel (vlookups, sumifs and pivots), along with organisational qualities, attention to detail, and reconciliation expertise. Having the ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment will set you apart.
