Under broad direction, incumbent is tasked with setting strategic and tactical direction for a geographical region regarding policy/procedures, work force staffing, and budgeting of assigned personnel within the Formation and Reservoir Solutions function. Managerial responsibilities include establishing and maintaining the technical standards within the discipline, assessing performance of subordinates, and developing competence of his/her respective workforce. Employees in this position participate in decisions regarding the acquisition and execution of contracts. May supervise several subordinate supervisors or team leaders. Skills are typically acquired through completion of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and a minimum of 10 years of previous experience to include managerial experience. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
