Job description
Conducting daily ward rounds in the Children's Ward, Neonatal Unit and report to the consultant in charge. Supervision to Junior medical team and acts as a source of advice and support to the nursing staff. See Patients in Emergency Department when required based on clinical and team situations. To carry out safeguarding medical examinations when adequately trained. Attend specialist clinics as per area of interest. See new and follow up General Paediatric patients in the clinics under supervision of consultant. Participate in clinical/medical audit, teaching and research within the childrens service. Managing the acute paediatric assessments working alongside clinical team with consultant support.
