Job description
Senior Quality Engineer will be involved with:
- Liaising with Project Engineers in the Quality Aspects of New Product Development.
- Quality assurance for commercial products manufactured throughout the company.
- This will be a customer-facing role, you will be the key customer interface regarding all quality issues.
- Performing Advanced Quality Planning along with the Risk Management of Product Introduction.
- Writing and Implementing Quality Plans for Production Readiness.
- Performing Physical Component Proving.
- Component Verification to Customer Supplied Drawings and Specification.
- Analysing and Problem Solving Non-conforming Items.
Essential knowledge, skills & experience:
- A good leadership skills and a good communicator.
- 7-10 years experience in the aviation sector.
- Experience of working to the Quality Management Standard ISO9001.
- Experience of working in a New Product Introduction environment.
- Working knowledge and experience of APQP & PPAP.
- Experience and working knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques.
Preferred knowledge, skills & experience:
- Experience of working to the AS9100 Aerospace Industry standard.
- Experience of working to Aerospace OEM requirements such as Rolls Royce SABRe.
