About the role

Working on the busiest network in Europe has some fantastic challenges, our street lighting team are responsible for going around the Network to identify defects with street lighting. We do this nightly Monday to Friday, under the direction of the lighting supervisor.

The team are currently looking for a diligent driver to join the team to support them with this crucial work. You will also have the opportunity to support the wider lighting team with delivery of lighting maintenance activities .

This role is crucial to ensuring the safety of the team and other road workers, including yourself. You should understand the importance of the role and the responsibilities this brings driving in closures safely and around the network.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure alocated vehicles are fit for purpose and maintained to the required standard through nightly vehicle checks required
• Ensure the safety of yourself and the team and the themselves, their colleagues, and other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions
• Maintain a clean driving licence and hold Balfour Beatty Permit to Drive

Who we're looking for

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Self Motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Clean driving licence, with 3 years driving experience
• Willingness to develop in role and beyond.
