Kenton Black Finance proud to represent a friendly and progressive professional firm in Chester, who are now seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Bureau Manager to undertake a HYBRID role, working 2 days in the office and 3 at home!
The Payroll Bureau Manager opportunity involves overseeing the full end to end payroll processing and managing a small payroll team of 2, being hands on processing a variety of both large and small client payrolls on a weekly/monthly/fortnightly basis via SAGE (training provided) This is a superb opportunity to join a stable and established firm offering a great working environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Payroll Manager/Supervisor with ideally previous experience in accountancy/bureau/umbrella or multiple payroll processing inhouse, who is now ready for a new challenge that offers responsibility to supervise a small team whilst remaining "hands one" with the payrolls.

Managing, overseeing and processing full end to end payroll functions for weekly/bi weekly/monthly/quarterly payrolls overseeing and delegating workload to team of 2.
Day to Day Duties:
• Process, oversee the payroll processes across a diverse portfolio of clients on a weekly/bi weekly/monthly/quarterly basis on behalf of both small and larger clients via SAGE(training can be provided) Managing and leading a small team of 2.
• Processing BACS payments
• Dealing with auto enrolment pension processing
• Dealing with SSP/SMP/SSP and PAYE
• Dealing with new starters/leavers, P45/P46''s/P60''s
• HMRC liaison and RTI submission monthly and annually, client liaison
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
• The successful candidate should ideally possess previous payroll experience as a Payroll Manager/Supervisor, within a full end to end accountancy/bureau/umbrella or inhouse payroll processing role, dealing with multiple interval payrolls.
• Possess a friendly, personable disposition and confident, professional telephone manner to engage effectively with clients and team members.
