Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, at a specialist Ophthalmic Hospital based in Chelmsford , which is in need of an enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable Registered General Nurse or Scrub Nurse to join their Ophthalmology team on a permanent basis.

SHIFTS: Monday to Saturday
SHIFT PATTERNS: 4 out of 6 days 8am-6pm with 1 Saturday in every 4.
The Role - In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Prepare the operating room and sterile equipment for ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgeries, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively assist in ensuring smooth and efficient procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning as required.
The Person - 12 months minimum UK NHS experience working as a General Nurse or Scrub Nurse
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience working in Ophthalmology is desirable but not essential as the successful candidate will receive full training.
