Role: Leakage Technician
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £24,000.00 to £28,000.00 depending on experience
Working Week: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 40 hours per week typical working hours are 7am - 3:30pm
Employment: 6 months temporary to permanent hire
Essential criteria: You must have a full uk drivers license

We are seeking Leakage Field Technicians with Water Industry Experience, for our South Water contract, covering the Cornwall. area to detect, locate and report both visible and hidden leaks from the trunk main and distribution network. This is truly a great opportunity for an individual to develop their skills and experience with one of the UK's leading Environmental Consultancies.
What you'll be doing
You will be working outside, using both traditional and electronic leak detection equipment to locate water main fittings & taking noise samples using electronic leak detection equipment (for which full training will be provided).
Who we're looking for?
·You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
·A good standard of basic maths and English
·Basic IT skills
·Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required
·Have good hearing
·Good communication skills
·Happy working alone and as part of a team
·Full UK driving license
·Water industry experience
