Overview

Our client’s employment programmes target individuals from hard-to-reach communities and provide them with direction through a menu of services designed to assist them back into the labour market. Services include diagnostic assessment, action planning, and referral to training provision, employability skills, job search, job brokerage, interview techniques and aftercare. They are now looking for an Projects Administration Manager to join their team

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000

The Role

• To manage the organisation administration of contracts, awarding organisation and contract compliance.
• To organise the administration of learners’ paperwork and have administrative control and collation of audit trail of outcomes associated with the delivery of funded projects.
• To manage and provide excellent administrative support and assistance to tutors and learners in ensuring examination bookings and appointments are effectively managed.
• The post holder will provide key knowledge and skills training to administration team.
• To ensure administrative support for all trainers and associates
• The post holder will also work closely with a central team to ensure contract compliance with finances, Health & Safety, project systems and procedures in line with company policies. There is no doubt, this role is pivotal to the successful control of projects.

The Person

• Proven and demonstrable commitment to the principles and practice of equal opportunities in employment.
• Working knowledge of H&S legislation and employment law
• Knowledge of ESFA, ESF, LA Funding rules and audit requirements
• Experience of working with PICS/FIS/DSAT or an equivalent ICT based MIS system
• Proven ability in planning and meeting time, cost and quality targets
• Able to monitor and maintain records
• Competent in use of Virtual Platform, Microsoft Office to a minimum of intermediate user level
• Knowledge of different funding streams including ESFA, ESF and private funding etc.
• Experience of managing the administration of funded learning provision in the work-based learning sector
• Working knowledge of the requirements of external quality audits including Ofsted and awarding bodies
• Confident and assertive approach

• GCSEs 5 Grade A-C including English and Maths
• IAG Level 3
• Min NVQ level 3 in Business Administration and IAG
