ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is super exciting and needs someone both who understands the brand perfectly and loves a spreadsheet. A unique blend if ever I heard one!
You will oversee the campaign development process as well as managing the creative and content team's workload and supporting processes. This role will lead our social strategy, editorial calendar, content creation, scheduling, and optimisation of Freddie’s Flowers owned and earned channel plans.
As a key member of the Freddie’s Flowers brand & creative team you will fuel strategic brand planning with responsibility for the delivery of the campaign calendar, as well as playing a central role in driving brand-enhancing always-on content creation.
In this role you will be responsible for exponentially growing the brand’s social presence and engagement building Freddie’s Flowers into the category’s leading social media destination.

With a real appreciation of how all areas of marketing interlink, you will be responsible for driving consumer engagement, awareness and brand recall through powerful and distinctive brand campaigns and evergreen storytelling that resonates with our core target market.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaigns
Annual Campaign Plans:
- Partnering with the Brand & Creative Director you will drive the creation of the brand strategy and supporting annual campaign plans
- You will ensure that these annual plans are developed into a cohesive, efficient and effective full-mix plan across digital, CRM, partnerships, collaborations, PR, influencers and social media
- With a deep understanding of the brand and bullseye target audience you will identity when market research is required to assist in content creation and ideation
Manage The Creative Development Process
- Prioritise, manage, and implement the creative review process to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and aligned to overall brand and commercial objectives
- Managing the communication of progress, you will manage a network of project stakeholders from concept to delivery
- Collaborating with the design team you will provide feedback on assets from a Brand standpoint to ensure delivery of creative to brief
Content
Co-Ownership Of Social Plans:
- In partnership with the Creative & Brand Director you will manage country-specific content calendars for the UK and Germany
- Through a deep understanding of the competitive environment, product and audience you will create a content calendar of first class creative across IG, FB, Pinterest & TikTok to build awareness, improve perception and increase engagement
- Working with the Art and Social Manager you will monitor platform and channel analytics, you will develop KPIs for social growth and champion key successes whilst identifying areas for improvement.
Extend Channel Reach to Include Events & Partnerships
- Leveraging the existing brand power you will create a programme of brand partnerships to reinforce the brand desirability and increase reach with the goal of subscriber acquisition
- To engage the existing Freddie’s community you will create an events calendar to drive active participation and enhance retention
Project Management
Engage Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver 1st Class Projects
- Forging strong partnerships with members of the Freddie’s Flowers leadership team you will ensure consistently high-quality creativity and campaigns that deliver extraordinary ROI
- You will work with channel owners to outline content initiatives, internal workflows, and define deadlines, ensuring they are met
- Set the annual budget and own it - with overall budget responsibility you will ensure all plans operate within agreed budget parameters, driving efficiency to ensure the most effective use of resources
Monitor Campaign Performance & Compliance to Brand Standards
- Ensure effective measurement systems, trackers and reporting structures are in place to test and learn, evaluate success and optimise outcomes on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as appropriate.
- Set clear Brand standards, guidelines and KPIs in line with brand positioning, mission and vision across the creative, campaign and content team output.
- Work with freelancers to manage output where necessary across all channels
Team Leadership
- Lead a team of 3 (campaign management, copy and content/social media)
- Working with the Director you will help to create a clear vision and pathway for the Brand & Creative team to scale inc. capability development, team structure evolution and infrastructure development
REQUIREMENTS
- An experienced leader who brings a track record of success growing dynamic consumer brands in an omnichannel businesses.
- Passionate about the importance of brand and storytelling as the foundation of growth.
- Socially-savvy, with an understanding of trends and an ability to respond to consumer insight.
- An understanding of what drives virality, generating outsized earned media
- Creatively-minded with the ability to develop a strong brand vision; not afraid to think blue sky and raise the bar to deliver standout global campaigns.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills, able to influence and inspire any audience with the highest focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial acumen, to enable you to work closely with the commercial and finance teams.
- Successful at managing people, ensuring each individual has focus and clarity on their role and responsibilities, with a focus on developing their skills through empowerment and coaching.
