Sharp Consultancy are truly delighted to be working in partnership with an outstanding manufacturing business in Sheffield in their search and appointment of an experienced and ambitious Sales professional to join their growing department due to increased work.
They are one of the largest and fastest growing engineering companies, with a highly skilled and experienced workforce utilising the very latest technology.
The holder of this position will represent the company, detailing their products and services, using a variety of research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how their services meet the needs of customers.
They will be responsible for achieving weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics in line with organisation goals and objectives.
Furthermore you will possess the experience, knowledge, and ability to generate specific new business leads as well as managing existing customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service
* Identification of potential new sales opportunities
* Identify new business prospects, set appointments, make effective sales calls, and manage sales to close new business
* Coordinate with sales and various other departments to ensure that targets are being met
* Planning and managing visits to existing and potential new customers
* Monitor and report relevant management and KPI information
Person Spec:
* Sales experience within a similar industry or engineering related field
* Processes excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve agreed sales targets and objectives
* Ability to work in a demanding and customer focused environment
* Energetic-proactive, hands-on approach and attitude
* Self-motivated
