About the Job:

Recra are working in partnership with a well known metal manufacturer who are recruiting a permanent TIG Welder /Fabricator within the Leicestershire area.

Role duties:

• TIG Welding in workshop and on-site environment. (Steel envoironment)
• Ensure all materials are measured correctly and precisely in accordance with design drawing. 
• Work individually or as part of a team to ensure highest possible standards of production, health and safety and customer service are maintained at all times. 
• Complete all relevant paperwork to comply with procedures, quality, security and regulatory requirements. 
• Highlight any improvements/queries to the product design as part of ‘right first time’ and ‘customer service’ ethos. 
• Keep all machinery clean and operational; flagging any concerns to the management team. 
• Commit to reducing costs and wastage of materials and time. 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Relevant TIG Welding Stainless Steel Qualification/experience. 
• Experience of Welding in Pharmaceutical or Food Industries
• Experience with hand/industrial tools.
• Ability to work accurately to tight production deadlines. 
• Flexibility for overtime/variable working hours and locations.
• Full driving licence and own transport.
