Job description
You will direct and input to projects and have knowledge and understanding of current and evolving UK planning and environmental legislation to provide guidance and technical advice and support to the environmental planning team in respect of planning policy and legislation, the preparation of planning applications, the co-ordination of EIAs and the preparation of environmental statements. Experience in minerals, waste and or energy planning is preferred but other disciplines or experience will be considered. A full UK driving licence is essential.
You will be a motivated, well-organised individual with high standards of written work and an eye for detail with experience in project management, budgeting and financial control.
Membership of RTPI or working towards a chartership is an advantage. However, for the right candidate support to work towards and gain experience to chartership may be available. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to play a proactive role in company performance and management and development of new business opportunities for strategic growth and development of the company.
