NWCare are recruiting for community care workers for the Cityside area of Derry/Londonderry. We have mornings (07:00 - 14:30), afternoons (15:00 - 18:30) and put to bed (19:00 - 23:00) rotas. No qualification or experience are necessary as full bespoke training will be provided in our in-house training academy. .

Responsibilities

• Personal care - dressing/undressing, showering/washing, oral hygiene, toileting/pad changing
• Light meal preparation
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe
• Companionship

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 2 or above in health and social care
• Previous paid care experience

We work off a 4/3 rota pattern, as follows: - Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Morning rota is from 07:00 - 14:30, Afternoon rota is from 15:00 - 18:30 and Put to bed/evening rota is from 19:00 - 23:00.
